The Crossing II

Living relatively close to Smoky Mountain NP I am fortunate to be able to visit and shoot there often.   In 2001 elk were re-introduced to the park and the park hasn’t been the same since.  The elk add a piece of history back into the landscape of the park.  I waited patiently by the river to catch the crossing.  I have two shots from this day.  One with adult elk and this one with a young baby elk.
