Shoshone – Winter Moose

“Shoshone” is one of the more famous moose in Grand Teton National Park.  A photographer friend and I spotted him on a very cold (5 degree) and snowy day while visiting the park.  Shoshone is famous for her massive size and equally massive rack.  He seemed content resting in the tundra and we stayed a far distance from him to keep from disturbing him.
