Cheetah are the fastest land animals in the world.  Watching them run full speed is something everyone should experience once in their lives.  It is simply incredible.  However, to begin their chase they have to find their prey.  This image shows the typical posture of these beautiful animals when they are scouting for their next meal or to protect themselves from their mortal enemy, the lion.  A mother cheetah is always alert, always watching.
