These “Painted Rocks” aren’t really “painted”.  They are 100% natural.  Southern Utah and northern Arizona have some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world.  This shot was taken right after sunrise which helped to provide the orange glow on the sandstone.  However, any time of day this area of the country is magical and certainly worth a visit.
