Great Migration – Masai Mara

There is “nothing”  like photographing the migration in Africa across the Serengeti or Masai Mara.  During the Great Migration literally hundreds of thousands animals including wildebeest and zebras move hundreds of miles two times a year.  They congregate on one side of the river, literally thousands and thousands of them, until – almost like a starters gun – off they go.  The river is full of 10-20′ long crocodiles so moving across in mass is the safest way to get across.  Not all succeed but it is part of nature and an amazing event to watch and photograph.
