Golden Sahara Sunset

Just like all of my images there is a story behind this one.  The golden sunset light is reflecting off of sand that blew all the way across the Atlantic from the Sahara Desert in Africa.  I had read the news about the sand a couple of days prior and set it on my calendar to head out on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get this shot.  Some events don’t happen every day!
