Bergamo, Italy is full of artistic, religious and historical treasures.  The Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore is one of them.  I was extremely impressed the the magnificent art work and craftsmanship on the ceiling.   The ceiling itself is a work of incredible art and this image was taken with a very high resolution camera so every square foot, within the image, is an accurate reproduction of what a visitor will actually see.
