Brown Bear Swimming at Crescent Lake

If you want to see Brown Bears (called grizzly in the continental US) one of the great places to go is Crescent Lake in Alaska.  The only way to get there is to fly in but once you do you will be in the land of brown bears. They are fishing for salmon and as this picture shows commonly swimming in the lake.  It’s kinda surreal coming up to on on a small skiff while they are swimming but they are too busy to care and I am too happy to be photographing them to worry about it.
