Unlike the Beatles song “A Day in the Life” Yellowstone Bison have to deal with wolves, freezing temperatures and snow to survive.  Their winter days are the definition of survival.  Every minute of every day they are fighting starvation, freezing to death and wolves.  A tough tough life but they persist and make it through – most of them.
