The Blue Ridge Parkway is a beautiful drive any time of the year or any time of the day.  However, driving along the parkway around sunset is my favorite time to shoot.  Catching the many layers of the mountains along with the rich colors of sunset really brings out the glory of the Appalachian area.  Clear, clean space as far as the eye can see.
